Someone thought of you today , Prayed for you today , Someone put money in your hand today

Felt your rough wounded skin today , Felt your pain today , Someone heard your gratitude just for sitting and listening to your wisdom and experiences today , Someone found a loved one of yours today - went back to where you usually sit on this worn out bench for the two of you to unite love and hold one another -make up for lost times & mend troubled past

But my Dear Old friend you weren’t anywhere in sight , I went back everyday, I asked about you Prayed that your alive & safe , That maybe I can just see you one more time , maybe to tell me you found a place to call home ,Adopted a puppy or cat , Formed some type of companionship

Your face burns in my chest , your battles felt so real as if I fought them myself , I didn’t tell you my name , Do you remember me too ? Do you pray over my life & wish me peace / healing for the trials I’ve been dealt ? Its been three years now still not the slightest sight after hours at our spot everyday no signs of your presence

I left my place of residency to join the tent community for a few nights (don’t worry I’m no fool to pass up my blessings) but I just need to let go my own way because in my soul something tells me things subtract when it comes to your whereabouts

Somebody seen me wrapped up on our little worn out bench again, they told me you passed away today , That you were found in your bed with a empty teacup by the bedside and a letter that READ TO BE CONTINUED…
